This March 2020, hospitality trailblazers The Initiative are opening the doors to their latest offering Deli Cat & Sons. Marrying the best of French and Californian fare, Deli Cat & Sons delivers an all-day breakfast and small plates menu alongside a self-service Deli, available to eat in or take away.
Délicat – meaning refined in French, was born out of our desire to revive the tradition of a local grocer with the causal nature of a neighbourhood eatery.
We are committed to serve our neighbourhood with local and fresh produces coming directly from our regional farmers and artisan producers and invite our guest to experience this journey during our Deli Suppers. Our offer ranges from fresh bread and artisanal cheeses to dried goods and locally sourced fruit and vegetables.
We offer a daily menu focusing on fresh pastries and coffees in the morning, light bites combining salads bowls, eggs and tartines to take-away or enjoy in our café, sharing boards for an early aperitif.
Menu highlights include:
“Seven Wye” Smoked Salmon, sesame bagel, cream cheese
Shakshuka, spiced tomatoes & onions, chili roasted feta, parsley, sourdough
Deli Cat Mezzeh
Spiced squash falafel, hummus, marinated olives, rocket, beetroot, sourdough
